Infinity now has native support for subdivision surface polygonal meshes, allowing to import assets from standard mesh modeling tools. Another major new feature is a new GUI editor. Additionally, first release date estimate for the engine and the new editor can be now made to late this year or early next year.

Infinity 3D engine now supports freeform surfaces in the form of bicubic Bezier surface patches.

A bicubic patch with 16 control points is one of the simpliest freeform surfaces that is also very generally usable for freeform surface representation. Many individual patches can be smoothly joined to form complex freeform surfaces.

Infinity 3D Modeller 0.95 is a tool that provides real-time visualization for programmatic 3D modelling and scene composition. This release includes partial support for POV-Ray scene description language.

Infinity 3D is proud to receive an invention grant from Finnish Runar Bäckström foundation.

The 15 000€ grant is to be used to help fund commercialization and further development of Infinity 3D real-time graphics technology.

Editor program version 0.91 comes with a collection of demo scenes to showcase Infinity real-time ray tracing technology. The editor also allows to perform constructive solid geometry modelling using a simple scripting language.
